My experience in role play

I would to express my gratitude to all my group’s member to give their cooperation to make sure our final project succeed. We had gave our own opinion and we choose “The Giant’s Garden” as a title of our roleplay. Actually we have four group members but one of us have changed to another college so we combined with Victoria group that has three members too. In our group, there were two princess and four superhero which are Arif Fadzil ,Haiqal, Wan Hazimin, Aimi Sufiah and me, Azera Sari. As long we be in group, each members of our group has gave cooperation with a good and express idea. We just take a random leader which are famous with his firm attitude. We can describe him as a responsible leader. In our group, we have gave a task that everyone must complete it on time. Actually this story is my suggestion based on article that I have read. I felt so suitable for our roleplay and I recommend this to other group members and they accept my suggestion.

We took two weeks to prepare our script, props, rehearsal and so on. Our lecturer have rejected our first script and we makes new one. Actually we don’t have many problems because we always give a cooperation so it makes easy for make a discussion. We also collect RM10 by each member to buys prop. Every single time that free, we will complete our task. Two days before the role play, we has practice at hostel. We need to remember our own dialogue and we must practice seriously. Our section were acted at KPTM main hall. Of course we feel the nervous feeling and we are leader of group in our section that started the show. Fortunately, we try hard to makes it perfect in front of the lecture.

That’s all that I can share what I remembered. This is my last post to this blog in this semester and I hope I have gave a good cooperation in class and for this group. Any mistake please forgive me. Thank you.

My experiences preparing the role play

On 22nd September, my college had a role play presentation. The presentation must be done by all semester 1 student. The role play were divided by class and in a class the student must form a group there are only 4 people in a group. My group’s name were Fabulous 4. We will present the role play title "The Giant's Graden". A week before the role play presentation day, we are struggling to complete the script. The script must be showed to my English’s lecturer, Miss Dini before we can proceed to prepare the props for the presentation. After the script were accepted, we divided the props that should be done individually such as I will make a tree by using polystyrene, my group’s member Afiq colouring the grass and so on. The cost that we spent for the props were RM70. We bought the props such as polystyrene, water color and brush at CzipLee stationary store at Kajang.

Every night at 9 o’clock, we do practice at surau of Desasiswa KPTM Bangi. Other group in my class also do practice at the same surau. During the practice, we share our ideas to improve our acting skills such as how to show the real expression when sad or happy, how to speak louder without microphone and how to be brave when facing the audience. All this skills are so important because we want to be the best group with the best presentation. We gave most attention to the main character, Giant during the practice and help him to give the best so our story can be understand by audience.

During the presentation day, our group are chose to be the first group to present. We are excited to present our story. But something wrong happened before we start the presentation. The stage had a little technical problems but our lecturer ask us to proceed the presentation. We proceed the presentation with the preparation that we have done and the presentation was so good. I'm so happy with this task even there are little bit tired to prepare. I want give a thank to all my group's members especially Wan Hazimin who are being the main character in this story. Thank you!

Experience When Preparing The Roleplay

The new experience that i had been through for three weeks is in the college is when my friends and i prepare for the roleplay. Firstly, we combine with Victorious Group since we lack of person to act the short fairy tale story. The title was ' The Giant's Garden' which is about the arrogant giant turn to a kind-hearted giant when he saw a little child play in his garden happily. This great fairy tale story was the idea of one of my group.

On the first week, we all together discussed about the script that is important part for especially how we pronounce and also express the feeling. After get the confirmation that the script is suitable, we choose and decided together who took the main character and others to act. I am the little boy who is strange and did not scared with the arrogant giant. This character also known as an angel.

Begin with second week, we have to setup our props and setting. This was the hardest part because based on story we have to prepare and design the giant's garden with the tree. Gratefully one of the Victorious group member had a brilliant idea. The idea was drew the tree on a piece of polystrene but the size like a cupboard. These were the best way for us to designed and setup the props and also background.

Cziplee Bookstore & Stationery

This was the place located at Kajang that my friends and I went to buy the polystrene and some paint to colour the tree. The transport not comfort for us to carry the things but we be grateful as long as it not damaged while we carried it to our hostel. We also spend more money in bought all of those things other than on the transport.

Around the corner of second week, we all able to finish all the props and setting. My friends and I satisfied with the advantages that our leader had. The leader is good at drawing and painting. As a group, we should have teamwork so we try to help our leader by painting it together. While we work on the props, we able to gain some painting skills. Other than that, we enjoyed to share our stories and know each other more well.

On the last week to prepare the role play, we have more time because we were the earliest team that had settled the props and other things that we need to do. We use our free time by practiced to act, find the timing to start the conversation in acting , script mistakes, and most important we correct our pronunciation. For me to memorize the script were very hard but luckily i just got a few of sentence. I were able to memorize and pronounce it correctly. This is our picture while we do rehearsal where is located in hostel chapel Muslim. Many funny and great moments that we enjoyed in this time. I can't forget all the moments and experience preparing the role play with them.

Langkawi a Wonderful Island

The place that I would like to hang out with my friends is Pulau Langkawi. As everybody knows, Pulau Langkawi was announced as a most beautiful island in Malaysia with Pulau Tioman and Perhentian. The reason that I would like being there with my friends because there were too many wonderful places that my friends and I can visit such as Tasik Dayang Bunting, Makam Mahsuri and others. Due to the size of the island, Langkawi’s best attractions are best explored by rented vehicle. The beaches are pleasant and peaceful. The water also great for swimming. The most attracted activities that I would like to do with my friends are riding the cable car and go to Langkawi Sky Bridge. . Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125 metre-long curved pedestrian bridge that offers an exhilarating view of the verdant Gunung Mat Cincang, Telaja Tujuh waterfalls, and several islands surrounding Langkawi. Set 700 metres above sea level, it is only accessible via the final station of the Langkawi Cable Car ride, which is priced at RM35 for adults and RM25 for children. It will be the best activities to us.

Majority of my friends are animal lover. So at Langkawi we will visit Langkawi Wildlife Park & Bird Paradise. The place are Great for families and animal lovers, Langkawi Wildlife Park & Bird Paradise houses over 2,500 exotic birds from 150 species such as canaries, ducks, parakeets, owls, eagles, toucans, hornbills and flamingos. The entrence fees also reasonable.

Last but not least, before going back home I will make sure that my friends and I went to Langkawi Island Hopping Tour. The Langkawi Island Hopping Tour takes us on a journey to explore Langkawi’s most illustrious islets. First we'll be taken to visit verdant ‘Pulau Singa Besar’; Big Lion Island; the boat stops just shy of the shores and you’ll get the chance to watch the king of the skies (eagles) as they soar overhead. Observe as they dive to catch their prey, chicken bits that the boat driver has thrown into the water, with deadly precision. ext head on over to Pulau Dayang Bunting; the silhouette of the pregnant maiden from a distance is truly awe-inspiring; meanwhile the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden – overflowing with supposed ‘magical’ waters is another breathtaking sight. Relax on the adjoining buoys on the shores, dip your feet into the waters or splash and swim around in the enclosed sections. The day ends with a visit to ‘Beras Basah Island;or Wet Rice Island – another pristine Langkawi beach with clear waters and far-reaching views of the sea where you can relax and soak up the sun and sea after a day spent trekking up to the Pregnant Maiden Lake and feeding the eagles.

favourite place to hangout;Teluk Cempedak

My favourite place to hang out is Teluk Cempedak. Have many food stall nearby when night come. Also have a lot of activity to be done for children.Overall this place is a nice place for family and friends to hang out.Great beach with white sand and lovely walks.
Beware of monkeys that seem to be aggressive at nighttime but are ok during the day. You can practically do anything here such as picnics, jogging, swimming, flying kites, eating out, go for walks in the mornings, evenings and nights, have a gathering.
You have nice clean sidewalks. The beach is nice, but when you swim, watch out for underwater currents and riptides. But, sadly the place is so commercialised and successful in pulling the crowds that it has lost the feeling of one with nature. It's up there amongst the best. It's so close to town, just 10 minutes from Kuantan. You can take a bus. Come in the mornings and evenings, those are the best times. If you can, avoid the weekends and public holidays. It get crowded especially during the weekends and Malaysian School Holiday season. Parking tends to be scarce too during the peak period.
A lot of restaurants available here with variety of food choices available.Macdonalds,KFC,Starbucks are available. There also many food stalls at there. You also can get a superb coconut shake at there.

My favorite place to hangout with my friends

Usually when you ask people what their favorite place is, they will talk about a distant place – maybe a beach or a beautiful mountain. But my favorite place to hangout with my friends is not far away at all. My favorite place to hangout with my friends is the forest behind my house.

Although the forest behind my house is not very big, when I was little I thought it was huge! There are so many interesting places to play and hide. My friends and i can sit on the big rocks and have a picnic, we can climb up the tall trees and also can look for butterflies and other little animals. Even though we have played there many times, we can still spend all afternoon running, playing, and hiking in the forest behind my house.

The forest behind my house is a magical place. If we have a important things to discuss and need some quiet place, we will go there to be alone and think. When we was little, we liked to imagine that there were magical people who lived in the forest. When we grow up and have children, we all hope that they can live near such a special place and hangout or spend all free time with them in that place.
